Food Pantry

The on-campus Food Pantry is stocked with non-perishable food items.

  • Castlegar Campus: Main Lobby, near Students' Union Office 0-127
  • Tenth Street Campus: Students' Union Office P112
  • Silver King Campus: Students' Union Office C136
  • Trail Campus: Main floor stairwell near the main entrance

To access the Food Pantry, get a key from the Students' Union Office or the Welcome Centre.

If you are experiencing unexpected financial pressures or are in an emergency situation, you may be eligible for emergency assistance.

Our Daily Bread

Hours: Monday—Friday, 11:30 am–12:50 pm

Hot lunch program (not a food bank). Donate $20 for a meal card, which is good for 22 meals.

Salvation Army

Open to anyone who is a Rossland resident. Proof of residence is required.

Sally's Place

Hours: Free lunch, Monday-Friday, 11:30 am–1:30 pm

Hampers are available for individuals and families to help with groceries or other necessities. If you are in need of support, call and make an appointment. Appointments for hamper pick up are on a Tuesday and Thursday.
