Prepare for Adventure
Raft the Slocan River with a professional guide! Meet at Crescent Valley Beach to learn about river safety and paddling techniques and then embark on an adventure down the famous Slocan River rapids!
Firstly, we get aquatinted with initiation rapids, then we mission through G-force rapids before we ride the roller coaster known as the elevator waves, where we practice maneuvering with your team and prepare to challenge the thrilling Faccina rapids. Finish up navigating Lo’s Lumber Yard as osprey fly overhead. We end our adventure at Shoreacres Beach for crisp high fives and lots of smiles on the drive back to the base.
Transporation: You will need to have your own transportation to and from this event.

Cost: $35 per student. To pay, stop by a gym office in person or call the Castlegar Gym at (250) 365-1292 or the Nelson Gym at (250) 505-1325. You must provide a receipt number to register.
