She is stoked to be sharing the culmination of her musical pursuits over the last two years. Her all-original set of music expresses themes of self-discovery, reflection, empowerment and magic.
Drawing influences from her childhood musical influences, she aims to create a feeling of community, love and vulnerability in her own music. Her music contains a variety of genres ranging from pop, folk and musical theater. She has a band of Mystics; featuring Anna Isabella on acoustic guitar and background vocals, Sera Kate on keys and background vocals, Renzo Amasifuen on electric guitar and background vocals, Adam Cripps on bass, Luisa Zúñiga on drums and Aiden Schalow on saxophone.
Cameron would be deeply honoured for you to join her in an evening of community and epic vibrations.
Toroma, Alternative Latin Pop
Renzo Amasifuen, also known as Toroma, hails from Lima, Peru. He developed a deep interest in music from a young age and began experimenting with various styles such as indie pop, alternative pop, Latin pop and boleros after learning to play the guitar. His poetic and emotive lyrics mirror his personal experiences and worldview.
Currently, Renzo is pursuing a diploma in music composition at Selkirk College in Nelson. His time in Canada has broadened his musical perspective and aided in his artistic development.
Toroma is thrilled to showcase his work alongside his band at the upcoming performance. Accompanied by a talented ensemble including Melissa Lozada on keyboards, Lucas Spielman on bass, Luisa Zúñiga on drums, Daniela Pacheco on backing vocals and Peter Macintyre on guitar, they are poised to deliver a unique Latin experience brimming with energy, passion, and a love for music.
