School Chair of Health & Human Services, Instructor, Bachelor of Science in Nursing After teaching and facilitating in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program at Selkirk College since 2017, Jocelyn moved into the role of Chair for the School of Health & Human Services in 2023 where she continues to support students and faculty. Instructor, Education Assistant & Community Support Worker Lisa has worked in the human services field since 1989, when she got her first job working with individuals with disability/disabled people. She’s held a variety of positions in community living since then, and in the West Kootenay area specifically since 1995. She completed the Classroom and Community Support Worker Program at Selkirk
Bonnie Shlakoff
When she is not on the job at Selkirk College, Bonnie likes fishing, hiking, kayaking and taking distance education classes as she pursues her Bachelor or Arts degree in English. She lives in beautiful Glade with her cat Luna.

Kristy loves her hometown of Castlegar! After a little travelling, living in Calgary and working in finance, she has finally made it back to the Kootenays to settle in and raise her family.
Tammy Profili
Tammy was born and raised in the West Kootenay and went on to complete her bachelor of arts in psychology from the University of Victoria before moving overseas to teach English in South Korea. This proved to be a life-altering experience and fuelled her love of travelling, learning and teaching! She returned to Canada to complete her bachelor of education from the University of British Columbia
