Cory is a researcher at the Selkirk Technology Access Centre and is an instructor in the Digital Fabrication Program. He has his Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyman’s certification for both the Machinist and Millwright trades.
While working as a researcher at the college, Cory is involved in the development and deployment of advanced manufacturing technologies. Also, in the role of researcher, he has worked with local industries to support the adoption of best practices and to help them stay at the leading edge of their industry.
In his role as an instructor at Selkirk College, he has contributed to the training of students bound for employment in the trades as well as the advanced manufacturing sector. His extensive knowledge in the foundations of traditional manufacturing allows him pinpoint areas of expertise that are needed to build the essential skills of learners.
