BSc (Trent), MA Organizational Leadership (Royal Roads)
I grew up in Toronto and as far back as I can remember I always wanted to move “out west” and play in the mountains. I fell in love with the outdoors at a very young age and spent a lot of my time traveling in a canoe in the vast wilderness of this beautiful country. I studied Environmental Science and Biology at Trent University and throughout that time managed to travel to many parts of the world to discover new cultures.
At a young age I became the Director of a wilderness centre in northern Ontario. After four years in that position I decided to go back to school and began my Masters in Leadership and Training at Royal Roads University. During my studies I moved to beautiful Nelson, B.C. and have been here ever since.
My experiences in the tourism industry have kept me on my toes and have helped me in my lifetime goal, “to always be learning.” Everyday I wake up and feel so thankful to be living where I do and working in the career that I am in.
