Shawn Curran grew up in Nelson, spent some time away and happily moved back to raise his family, as he loves the Kootenays.

He specializes in organization and documentation and has been part of growth in all previous companies he’s worked for. Shawn has a passion for learning and excelling and is a graduate of the Selkirk College Plant Operator Program.

He has a solid production and manufacturing background and experience in technical sales, management, design and prototyping on variety of machines, as well as equipment and machinery repair. With a passion for sharing what he has learned, he wrote and taught courses at the MIDAS Lab and was part of the successful transition from the MIDAS Lab to the Selkirk Technology Access Centre (STAC).

Outside of work, Shawn is into outdoor activities and adventures in all seasons, as well as volunteering at his children’s school, and being a part of his community in general.
