"As a History instructor, I aim to make an important contribution to my community by increasing local knowledge about our collective past. I want to leave the world a better place than I found it and I hope I can inspire my students to do the same." - Takaia Larsen, History Instructor
After graduating with an Arts diploma from Selkirk in 2002, I wasn't prepared to stop learning. Instead, I went on to earn my Bachelor of Arts in History and English at Okanagan University College, and my Master of Arts in History at the University of Victoria. Today, you can find me teaching History and Peace and Justice Studies at Selkirk College.
