As a homegrown Kootenay kid and Selkirk College alumni, I am delighted to be back on campus, connecting with prospective students and their families in my role as a Student Recruitment Coordinator.
My time at Selkirk College contributed to my eventual completion of a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications at Simon Fraser University. Like many students studying here, I benefited from starting post-secondary with comparatively low tuition, and the cost savings and support that came with living at home while I explored education and career paths.
After many years in Vancouver and Squamish working at various non-profit organizations, I was happy to return to our beautiful region. In my free time, I love gardening, exploring BC by ski and on foot, enjoying live music and local art, and volunteering at the West Kootenay SPCA.
